Hello and welcome to our little space on the web. We are Polar Folk. Outdoor lovers at heart, we would love to show you some of the amazing things the Lofoten Islands has to offer. We offer guided snowshoeing, guided hikes, guided SUP (stand up paddle boarding), equipment rental and accommodation.
Guided tours
Taking a guided tour is more than just hiking or SUPing with a local. We bring knowledge on the local wildlife, traditions, weather, geography and have the added benefits of extra safety in the mountains and on the water. Currently focusing on winter hiking but check out our other guided tours.

Accommodation
We are pleased to offer two beautiful homes for your stay in Lofoten. We would love to share our little bit of paradise with you.
The Little Red Cabin
Another old barn belonging to the farm. It was lovingly renovated into a one bedroom cabin in 2024. Access to the fjord and having a new large terrace to enjoy the amazing views into the fjord and the mountains behind. Small and quirky but a great place to come and experience the islands.
Wilderness house
This used to be the old barn belonging to the farm. It was converted into a two bedroom apartment on the top floor in 2007. Access to the fjord and being set back and up the slope the house has amazing elevated views into the fjord and the mountains behind. A peaceful location that allows you connect with true Lofoten nature.
